Estimate, pricing, coupon, service scope, website, and communication terms for Clear Grade.
Last updated: June 28, 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Clear Grade website and to estimate requests for stump grinding, stump removal by grinding, root removal, raised root grinding, surface root removal, cleanup, grading prep, small tree removal, bush removal, blackberry removal, commercial, partner, and municipal services. By using the website or requesting service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit a request.
1. Website Information
The website provides general information about Clear Grade services, service areas, pricing factors, coupons, forms, and contact options. Website content is not a final quote, contract, guarantee, or promise that a specific service can be performed at a specific property. We may update services, pricing language, offers, service areas, photos, and website content at any time.
2. Estimates and Final Pricing
Photo estimates, website pricing, coupons, and starting prices are planning tools. Final pricing is confirmed by the technician based on actual site conditions, stump diameter, root flare, number of stumps, access, slope, soil, rocks, utilities, metal, irrigation, cleanup volume, travel, disposal needs, and the approved scope before work begins. You are not required to proceed if you do not approve the final price.
3. Service Scope
Stump removal is typically performed by grinding the visible stump and selected root flare below grade. Standard stump grinding does not excavate every underground root. Surface root removal, raised root grinding, chip haul-away, topsoil, seeding, grading prep, bush removal, blackberry removal, small tree removal, commercial work, municipal work, and cleanup options must be specifically reviewed and approved as part of the final scope.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate name, phone number, email, address, ZIP code, project details, photos, and access information.
- Confirm that you own the property or have permission to approve the work.
- Provide safe access to the work area, including gates, parking, pets, slope, and obstacles.
- Disclose or mark private utilities, irrigation, sprinkler lines, drains, lighting, wires, invisible fences, propane, private electrical, buried objects, rocks, metal, or other hidden hazards.
- Keep children, pets, tenants, neighbors, and bystanders away from the equipment and work area.
- Confirm cleanup expectations before work begins.
5. Utilities, Private Lines, and Hidden Conditions
Public utility marking may be required for certain work, but private lines and hidden property conditions are the customer’s responsibility to disclose or mark. Clear Grade is not responsible for damage to unmarked, undisclosed, improperly located, or hidden private lines, irrigation, drains, lighting, wires, buried objects, hardscape, or other hazards that were not reasonably visible or disclosed before work began.
6. Scheduling, Access, Weather, and Route Changes
Scheduling depends on route availability, weather, equipment, site access, job size, safety, and customer responsiveness. We may reschedule or decline work if the site is unsafe, access is blocked, the scope is materially different from the estimate request, required information is missing, weather makes the work impractical, or the job falls outside our service area or safe operating scope.
7. Coupons, Discounts, and Offers
Coupons and offers must be mentioned before the final price is approved. Offers may be limited by service area, project size, minimum service pricing, route, cleanup scope, or expiration date. Coupons have no cash value, cannot be combined unless stated, and may be changed or discontinued at any time.
8. Payment
Payment terms are confirmed as part of the approved job or invoice. Late, failed, disputed, or incomplete payments may delay scheduling, completion, documentation, or future service. You agree to provide accurate billing information and to pay approved charges for completed work and approved add-ons.
9. Photos, Reviews, and Job Documentation
Clear Grade may take before-and-after photos to document site conditions, scope, access, and completed work. We may use non-identifying job photos for internal records, training, quality control, estimates, and documentation. If we want to use identifiable customer photos, reviews, testimonials, or property details for marketing, we will seek permission where appropriate.
10. Calls, Text Messages, and Email
By submitting a form, requesting an estimate, calling, texting, emailing, checking an SMS consent box, or otherwise providing your contact information, you authorize Clear Grade to contact you by phone, text message, or email about your request, estimate, appointment, access questions, reminders, job updates, invoices, review requests, and related service communications.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing services. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. For help, reply HELP or contact up@cleargradepro.com or (425) 230-2222. We do not guarantee that every text, call, voicemail, or email will be delivered by your carrier, device, inbox, or service provider.
11. SMS Privacy
Clear Grade does not share, sell, rent, or disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared with service providers only as needed to deliver messages, operate communication systems, maintain records, provide customer support, protect security, or comply with law.
12. Website Use and Prohibited Activity
You may use the website only for lawful purposes and legitimate estimate, contact, and service inquiries. You may not misuse the forms, submit false information, attempt to disrupt the website, scrape content, upload malicious material, impersonate others, or use the website in a way that violates law or interferes with Clear Grade operations.
13. Intellectual Property
Website text, layout, branding, graphics, photos, service descriptions, design elements, and other content are owned by or licensed to Clear Grade unless otherwise stated. You may view the website for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell, or reuse website content for commercial purposes without permission.
14. Third-Party Links and Tools
The website may link to or use third-party services such as maps, analytics, advertising tools, payment tools, form tools, communication providers, social platforms, or review platforms. We are not responsible for third-party websites, policies, outages, carrier filtering, or platform decisions.
15. Disclaimers
The website and services are provided as available. We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information and careful service, but we do not guarantee that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that every project can be completed exactly as expected. Site conditions, safety, utilities, hidden objects, access, weather, and equipment limitations can affect the outcome.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clear Grade is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from website use, communication delays, third-party platforms, carrier issues, or service conditions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in a court or forum with proper jurisdiction unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
