We grind unwanted stumps below the surrounding grade so the area can be reused, maintained or prepared for the next landscape step.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
The technician confirms the widest ground-line measurement, access, hazards and requested finish before work. Standard service includes controlled grinding of the quoted stump and a basic cleanup of the immediate work zone.
SINGLE STUMPS
One straightforward stump with safe machine access. Typical local minimum starts at $200.
MULTIPLE STUMPS
Grouped pricing can improve the cost per stump when the work is completed in one visit.
LARGE OR COMPLEX
Wide root flare, slopes, rocks, structures and limited access are priced after inspection.
FINISH OPTIONS
- Grind only: grindings remain neatly on site.
- Clean finish: quoted grindings are loaded and hauled away.
- Lawn ready: chip removal, topsoil, rough grading, seed and starter.
- Visible surface roots: priced separately when safely accessible.
IMPORTANT SCOPE NOTES
Grinding removes the stump and selected visible roots; it does not excavate the entire underground root system. Utility marking, irrigation, buried wire, rock, metal and other hidden hazards must be identified before work.
